I was born in Liverpool and have lived in various places in the UK before settling in Whitby on the North East coast of England. I completed an Art Foundation at Trent Polytechnic in Nottingham before taking a B.A. in Art and Drama at Liverpool, later completing an M.A. in Advanced Digital Design at Teesside University.
I have worked in a variety of jobs: youth worker in Liverpool and London, garden designer, actor and graphic designer. For the last 20 years or so, I have run a small design studio called Media Vision based in Whitby.
Whilst I have always taken photographs – including in a professional role for my day job – I took up landscape and art photography more seriously in 2017. My work is evolving, and although I love landscape photography, I am planning to engage more with people in the future.
